It is made as mixture of organic and mineral materials mainly of white peat (Sphagnum) and black peat. It has high consistency, stability and good physical and chemical properties. By adding a certain amount of lime, the pH of the substrate is optimized and , by addition of the clay, adsorptive properties. In the substrate was added a wetting agent (FIBA Zorb or Hidrogel) and perlite that further improves its physical properties.
Enriched with nutrients in quantities adapted to young seedlings sensitive to increased salt content.
Florahum-SS is special substrate intended for the initial development of seedlings, from seeding until planting. It is used for seeding of young vegetables and flower plants that are sensitive to an increased salt content and which, at some stage of growth (usually after the development of the cotyledonous leafs and the first 2-4 leafs) are transplanted to the seedling trays with potting
substrates, where they remain until planted on a permanent site.
This substrate provides an ideal habitat for the seeds, as well as the smooth operation of automated loading systems for containers or different cassettes.
In this substrate plants remain shorter (until planting in seedling trays).
Packages: 80 lit bag (39 pcs per pallet )
FLORAHUM - SS is different from the potting substrate because it is less enriched with nutrients, but it is quite enough for the plants to achieve the proper growth and development of the root system.
-Contains all the necessary macro and micro-elements , plus calcium and clay additives to improve chemical and adsorptive properties.
- Sterilized with water vapor at 95 C min. 30 minutes.
-Holds moisture for a long time ( added wetting agent Fiba Zorb or Hidrogel )
- It has optimal water, air and general physical properties.
Nitrogen (N) 95-110 mg/L
Phosphorus (as P2O5) 95-105 mg/L
Potassium (as K20) 95-120 mg/L
Magnesium (as MgO) 45-60 mg/L
Besides basic macroelements, substrate contain all necessary microelements added in form of RADIGEN mixtures, mainly in chelated form.
